We’ve gathered some of our favorite things to do around Clearwater Beach and Tampa Bay! Peruse them all and see which ones belong on your itinerary.
Area Beaches & Islands
Winter the Dolphin Beach Club is situated on lively and social Clearwater Beach. But you may wish to explore other stretches of sand. We hope you do!
Glide over the waters of St. Joseph Sound to one of Florida’s few all-natural islands. Swim and sunbathe along the unspoiled beaches, hike the trails, kayak through mangroves, and take a shady picnic break.
This undeveloped 385-acre barrier island and State Park has four miles of sandy beaches, hiking trails and bird-watching opportunities along the Osprey Trail. Upon arriving, visit the Rotary Centennial Nature Center to learn about the island and get ready to swim, hike, bike, kayak, or simply relax.
Plan Your Day on the Beach
Whether you want to spend the day paddleboarding, sipping cocktails on a boat tour, or watching dolphins play in the ocean waves- there’s something for everyone on Clearwater Beach!
Easily browse and book last-minute activities all in one place with no fees on Bubba Booking!
Sunsets at Pier 60
Gather at dusk on Pier 60, where celebrating the sinking sun is a nightly event complete with musicians and performers. The 1,080-foot pier is also home to playgrounds and a café.
Fishing & Boating
Everything is more exciting when you’re floating on the water. From pirate cruises on an authentic ship to spearfishing on a 45-foot yacht to cruising aboard a three-masted schooner, aquatic options are not lacking here.
Explore St Pete
St Petersburg is located just 45 minutes from Winter the Dolphin’s Beach Club, and is home to the Salvador Dali Musem, top-rated restaurants and bars, shopping and so much more!
Explore the brand new pier, enjoy lunch on Beach Drive, or take in the beautiful water views at Vinoy Park – the options are endless!
Our neighbor to the east, Tampa, is jam-packed with urban fun, including the Tampa Theatre, Glazer Children’s Museum, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Zoo Tampa, Adventure Island Water Park and more!
Escape the busy beach and explore the quaint downtown of Dunedin. You will find local shops, breweries, and trendy restaurants. Dunedin is one of the oldest towns in the state of Florida, and its relaxed lifestyle is easy to fall in love with.
