Welcome to our oasis in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Inspired by Winter the Dolphin, our hotel is both family-friendly and eco-friendly. Meet rescued marine animals through our alliance with Clearwater Marine Aquarium, home of marine life from the famed Dolphin Tale movies. Relax in nautical surroundings featuring a fun, ocean-inspired theme inside, while a stunning pool and pristine beach await you outdoors.

We are the first Clearwater Beach hotel with measures to protect marine life including sea turtle safe lighting, the elimination of single-use plastics, and special window treatments to reduce energy use while minimizing the harmful effects of sun glare off of the Gulf of Mexico. With our vision to protect marine life and the environment, we are also ocean-friendly through our partnership with local non-profit, Ocean Allies.

Winter, an Atlantic bottlenose dolphin, was two months old when she was found entangled in a crab trap line near Cape Canaveral, Florida. She was transported to Clearwater Marine Aquarium and treated for her injuries. Although her tail couldn’t be saved, she was fitted with a prosthetic tail, helping her to swim, eat fish and thrive on her own. Despite overwhelming odds for survival, Winter recovered completely, and her story served as the inspiration for the wildly popular Dolphin Tale movies and for our hotel, which proudly bears her name. Winter the Dolphin’s impactful legacy lives on through the beach club and our important mission of education and awareness surrounding marine conservation, preservation, and rescue efforts.
